Beatrice Gibson explores ideas on sound, society and collective production. Her films are often the result of research processes around musical ideas or works. Such is the case of the two films now presented: a science fiction piece with references to Robert Ashley’s operas, and a crime thriller based on a score by Cornelius Cardew.
Both films won the Tiger Award at the Rotterdam Film Festival.
