There are sweet-toothed sculptors! How is chocolate made? What can we make with it? A house? A tree? Easter eggs? Or something completely abstract? Decorating almonds with colours is one idea ... This workshop is for sweet-toothed sculptors, little greedy cooks who have refined tastes and curious hands. That’s all we can say at present. Come and find out for yourself!Idea and Coordination: Catavento, Lda.5-7 April, 9:30-12:30
Looking for paintingLet's go and get ready to look for painting! Between paints and papers, we almost don’t need brushes! Sponges, tissues, mirrors?! ... Ah !! And with stamps and stencils! Whispers in the Park Shhh…! Close your eyes. What can you hear? The wind, voices, branches, the leaves rustling in the trees? Small birds warbling? Airplanes flying by? With our eyes wide open we’ll walk through Serralves Park and discover some surprising forms in Nature that look just like sculptures. Let's get some inspiration, behind the trees, shrubs and clearings, to build a sculpture that will whisper in the Park!10-13 April, 14:00-17:00
This Wall is ours!!The buildings of Porto are being transformed into giant canvases. Artists and artistic collectives are now working on scaffolds, using paint buckets and huge rolls to create works of art that will fill the city with colour and movement. During this workshop we’ll occupy a wall in Serralves and create a mural. Is it the same thing to paint on a postcard-sized sheet of paper, a body-sized sheet of paper or a wall? And will the materials be the same? This Wall is ours. We need your help in this collective artistic adventure! Idea and Coordination: Raquel Sambade, Sónia Borges5-7 April, 9:30-12:30
Who wants to look after animals? In Serralves Farm there are very curious inhabitants who love visitors! They are the Farm animals that you can get to know. What are they like? How do they behave? What do they eat? How do they sleep? And what food can we give them? So many questions and so many things to learn! Pull up your sleeves and help us look after Rola, Mirandês, Cabi and Pintas!Idea and Coordination: Eliana Barbosa5-7 April, 14:00-17:00

Plants and legendsOn a journey of discovery through Serralves Park, via drawings, collages, photographs and notes, we’ll build a creative herbarium, with ancient stories and legends that have survived for millennia. Even today, some of our beliefs are based on them. Did you know that if you step on a bit of St. John's Wort, before going to bed, goblins will keep you awake all night? Discover what this plant is and learn this and other legends and collect them in a craft book. 100% made by you!Idea and Coordination: Raquel Correia, Sónia Borges10-13 April, 14:00-17:00

Journey into the hidden world of animalsWe propose a fascinating journey into the hidden world of the animals living in the Park. How many hearts does a worm have? And can ants live without lungs? In the midst of so many cold-blooded animals with special ears used to detect echoes and tails that can be shed at will, you’ll be surprised by so the animal curiosities in Serralves Park. Walking through the Park, in the lakes, gardens and vegetable garden, we’ll observe, capture and analyse fantastic animals. At the end of our expedition we’ll make sure to return them to their natural habitat.Idea and Coordination: Mundo Científico, Lda.5-7 April, 14:00-17:0010-13 April, 9:30-12:30
To the Arts!We have heard the word "contemporary" so many times, but do we know what it really means? And what about contemporary art? During one week we’ll see, talk, think and work around works of art made by some of today’s most important artists. At the end of this workshop we’ll either be specialists or ... contemporary artists ourselves?!Idea and Coordination: Raquel Sambade10-13 April, 14:00-17:00
Compasses, sculptures and adventuresTake seventeen steps north and then turn left after the tallest tree you’ll ever see.The adventure begins by walking through the Park from one end to the other and finding and interacting with the sculptures located therein. But what will we do with our findings? Open the envelope and follow the directions ...! Without losing our compass, mirror, or direction, let’s see and do everything that can happen!Idea and Coordination: Andreia Coutinho, Magda Silva5-7 April, 9:30-12:30
A branch, a lineLet us explore the nooks and crannies of Serralves Park, staying alert, and discovering beyond the immediately obvious. Let's think about making things - with and in Nature. We’re an integral part of what surrounds us and involves us. We’ll observe and feel the dynamics of the environment, slowing down the normal time of our senses. Let’s listen to the leaves and the animals, and feel things that are cold, rough, wet and slippery ...Using a process of experimentation, including taking risks, making mistakes, rethinking, discussing and recording, we’ll make a creative intervention to represent our intense and genuine relationship with Nature. Branches, leaves and pebbles will be transformed into sculptures, exhibited in the open-air museum of the garden. What will happen to them from one day to the next? Will they disappear or become something else?Idea and Coordination: André Rodrigues, Sónia Borges5-7 April, 14:00-17:00
Blank bookThere are books that we have to rip, fold, get wet ..! They are books that have no stories, but instead contain experiences and challenges that transform this object into an entire world of possibilities, ours alone. It will take a good dose of creativity and daring to create a book together that will make us produce ... nonsense!Idea and Coordination: Raquel Sambade, Sónia Borges10-13 April, 9:30-12:30
