Afra Safa is an Iranian cultural editor, writer, and curator with a specialization in Middle Eastern art and culture. Currently based in Porto, Portugal, she holds a Master’s in Management of Creative Industries. Advising on contemporary art, cinema, and cultural developments, Afra has collaborated with various prestigious institutions, including Venice’s A Plus A Gallery and Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art. She has contributed to leading publications such as STIRworld, often exploring the intersections of art, design, society, and political movements in the Middle East. Her curatorial and editorial work is centered on the analysis of social developments through the lens of artistic and cultural creations.
