On October 10, the book presentation of the exhibition Anagramas Improváveis: Works from the Serralves Collection will take place. The session will feature the curators of this exhibition: Marta Almeida, Inês Grosso, Ricardo Nicolau and Joana Valsassina, led by Philippe Vergne, director of the Museum, who will present an excerpt from the respective texts of the publication, sharing their perspective on the exhibition, as well as on the past and present of the Serralves Collection, pointing to its possible future.

Anagramas Improváveis: Works from the Serralves Collection takes the reader on an authentic journey through the inaugural exhibition of the Álvaro Siza Wing, highlighting the importance of the relationship between the works and the space and the resonance of the surprising (and unlikely) associations between artists from different generations and geographical origins.

At the end of the presentation, there will be a symbolic moment in Serralves Park, next to the Álvaro Siza Wing, where the book will be planted, in a gesture that represents the return of paper to its origin - the trees - and which also symbolizes the dissemination of knowledge.

Anagramas Improváveis is the first exhibition of the Serralves Collection in the Museum's recently opened extension, the Álvaro Siza Wing, and is curated by Marta Almeida, Isabel Braga, Inês Grosso, Ricardo Nicolau, Joana Valsassina and Philippe Vergne.
