SCRIPTA is part of a series developed around the artist's interest in the game: all the pieces in the series have been given the same title, an ode to the game boards found in various parts of the Roman Empire, engraved on the floor or on plaques. Francisco Tropa is interested in the sculpture portability and mobility and the possibility of repositioning it. In this sense, his boards do not follow fixed patterns and are arranged differently in each presentation (F. Gulbenkian).

The work will be activated as part of the programme of the exhibition (A)MO-TE by Francisco Tropa (Lisbon, 1968).
