REPERTÓRIO N.2 is the second piece of a choreographic trilogy by the Brazilian
artists Davi Pontes and Wallace Ferreira exploring dance as a form of self-defense.
Using unconventional and informal techniques, they embrace an alternative,
underground lineage of self-defense practices. Through their choreographies, they
undertake a critical reflection of the world they inhabit, engaging in a choreographic
process that traverses imagination and intuition. Their aim is to liberate themselves
from both implicit and explicit constraints, confronting the colonial, racial, and
cisheteropatriarchal frameworks inherent in Western thought.
