The informal group created by Beatriz Albuquerque & Albuquerque Mendes since 2009, is a duo of artists/performers from different generations, who are dedicated to the creation and realization of performances. Inspired by the passion of their experiences, influences, research and artistic practices, the group establishes an organic synergy in their works. By addressing the context of the Salazar dictatorship and the process of emancipation of the people that led to the revolution of the 25th of April, the performers seek to create a confident space for dialogue and artistic exploration, promoting memory and reflection on the past oppression. As advocates for equality and diversity, artists believe in the importance of accepting different opinions, religions, genders, and life choices.
