Paz Rojo, ECLIPSE : MUNDO
The Museum as Performance
O MUSEU COMO PERFORMANCE
Horário: 17:00

‘ECLIPSE
: MUNDO’ proposes a device of audio-visual dissociation wherein dance appears
as a void, as a separation, as a withdrawal and as an abandonment which is the
etymological origin of the word “eclipse”. As if it were a choreography
interrupted by its own preparation, this is a dance that, although it wants
nothing, it does something. Having become a continuous bass, a ruin, a murmur
this dance seeks for itself another starting point, another way to dance again.
This performance is accompanied by the book ‘To Dance in the Age of No-Future’,
written by Paz Rojo, (published by Circadian, Berlin 2019).
