In October 2021, Jean-Luc Godard presented his idea for Scénario, a 6-chapter feature film combining still and moving images, halfway between reading and seeing. Exposé du film annonce du film Scénario (Presentation of the Trailer of a ) is a privileged encounter with Godard's creative process, where the director, in first-hand, tries to communicate instructions for his new film to his collaborators Fabrice Aragno and Jean-Paul Battaggia.

Scénarios, which was literally finished by Jean-Luc Godard the day before he died, has two strands: DNA, Fundamental Elements, and RMN, Odyssey. Between these two polarities, which evoke genesis and decline in a strictly materialistic way, a story unfolds, made up of a tangle of notes and images, condensed into 18 minutes. It's a narrative haunted by death, because this film is also a farewell. After Godard's death, two of his closest collaborators, Fabrice Aragno and Jean-Paul Battaggia, document the space that was the director's home, but also his workplace and a privileged space that witnessed his last artistic gestures and his own private life. A world premiere film, Rolle: Inventory will certainly also be one of the last but also most profound entry points into Jean-Luc Godard's creative and intimate universe.
