Performing Arts CycleLouise Bourgeois’ Exhibition“To Unravel a Torment”

Responding to a desire to stimulate dialogues with the exhibition "To Unravel a Torment" by Louise Bourgeois, on view at the Serralves Museum, a performing arts program was conceived that includes invitations to choreographers Tânia Carvalho, Sónia Baptista and Ana Rita Teodoro to create new works in a relationship with the Bourgeois’  visual work and a concert programme to be played by the Ars Ad Hoc ensemble that includes works by three American composers (Anne LeBaron, Catherine Lamb and Mary Jane Leach) and the absolute premiere of a new composition by Inés Badalo, also created for this context.
