A TERRA COMPARTILHADA
SUMMER SCHOOL
The Institute of Speculative and Critical Inquiry (ISCI) and Serralves Foundation present:
Summer School: A Terra Compartilhada
The Serralves Museum is collaborating this year with the independent center of research and education, the Institute of Speculative and Critical Inquiry (ISCI) in Berkeley, California for its annual program of summer schools. The ISCI summer schools are an opportunity for graduate and postdoctoral scholars, practicing artists, and others to learn and think with leading practitioners of the humanities and the arts. Focused on contemporary queer theory, cosmopolitical thought, and sound experimentation, the 2022 series puts such faculty as Jack Halberstam, Eduardo Viveiros de Castro, Natalia Brizuela, Tavia Nyong’o, and David Grubbs into dialogue with the Serralves community and the current exhibitions at the museum. Citizens and residents of Portugal are invited to apply to participate free of charge, and interested members of the public are welcome to attend open events and performances.
