Welcome to the 33rd edition of the Serralves Festival Jazz no Parque, an event that celebrates creativity, diversity and emotion as core values, both nationally and internationally.
At a time when contemporary art is ‘besieged’ by a profound worldwide crisis with its roots on the inescapable themes of war and climate change, Jazz in the Park continues investing in projects that challenge conventions and expand the genre’s stylistic boundaries, emerging as urgent abstract elements in a creative strategy to combat resistance to change. The Festival’s two weekends offer a platform for both renowned and emerging artists, bringing together talents from various parts of the world into a musical dialogue that transcends boundaries and generates communion and sharing.
The seven concerts, divided between the Museum auditorium and the outdoors stage in the garden, will offer the audience a unique, unforgettable sound experience which affirms music as a catalyst for inspiration and change. Join us for another memorable edition that once again establishes Serralves as a reference in divulging and developing contemporary art in Portugal.
