Celebrating its 32nd edition this year, Jazz in the Park is preparing for a new cycle of concerts under the signs of creativity, emotion, diversity, adventure and freedom, values that are proving to be increasingly valuable and fundamental as we move forward into this new century. For this, we face the challenge of knowing and understanding a national jazz community that is unanimously celebrated as one of the most dynamic and vital in Europe. A community whose multiple international connections are organically integrated into the structure that makes up each new edition of the festival.

For this year’s programme, expanded to a total of seven concerts, we have invited some of the most relevant figures of the national jazz and improvised music scene, covering a broad generational and stylistic spectrum. These figures are joined in the programme by four top international musicians – Tony Malaby, Michael Formanek, Jacob Sachs, and Camila Nebbia – to give continuity to a vision of jazz in which innovative musicians cross the genre’s stylistic boundaries, reinventing languages and creating bridges to the future. These are the guidelines that orient what will undoubtedly be another exciting and memorable edition.
